Hey ! Everyone there I am back with my new blog and this blog is dedicated to all them  who are curious to explore the geography of the world and mother nature. There are a lot of mountains in the world among all mountains. Among all the highest are listed below in the list of:

1) Mount Everest, Nepal

 It is the mountain with an elevation of about 8848 m (29029 ft) above the sea level. It is the highest mountain in the world and is located in the Mahalangur Himal sub-range of the Himalayas. It was first climbed by Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary.

2) Mount K2, Pakistan

 It is the mountain with an elevation of about 8611 m (28251 ft) above the sea level. It was first climbed by Achille Compagnoni and Lino Lacedelli. It is second highest mountain in the world after Mount Everest, located at the China-Pakistan border between the Baltistan of northern Pakistan and the Taxkorgan of China.

3) Mount Kanchenjunga, Nepal/India

 It is the mountain with an elevation of about 8586 m (28169 ft) above the sea level. It was climbed by George Band and Joe Brown for the first time. It is third highest mountain in the world after Mount K2, located in the west of the Tamur river, in the north of the Lhhonak Chu and Jongsang La, and in the east of Tista river.


4) Mount Lhotse, Nepal

 It is the mountain with an elevation of about 8516 m (27940 ft) above the sea level. It was first climbed by Fritz Luchsinger and Ernst Reiss. It is fourth highest mountain in the world after Mount Kanchenjunga, located at the immediate south of Mount Everest.

5) Mount Makalu, Nepal

 It is the mountain with an elevation of about 8481 m (27825 ft) above the sea level. It was climbed by Lionel Terray and Jean Couzy for the first time. It is fifth highest mountain in the world after Mount Lhotse, located in the Mahalangur Himalayas, 19 km southeast of Mount Everest.

6) Mount Cho Oyu, Nepal

 It is the mountain with an elevation of about 8201 m (26906 ft) above the sea level. It was first climbed by Herbert Tichy, Pasang Dawa Lama and Joseph Jochler. It is sixth highest mountain in the world after Mount Makalu, located to the westernmost part of the Khumbu sub-section of the Mahalangur Himalaya 20 km west of Moount Everest.

7) Mount Dhaulagiri, Nepal

 It is the mountain with an elevation of about 8167 m (26795 ft) above the sea level. It was first climbed by Kurt Diemberger. It is seventh highest mountain in the world after Mount Cho Oyu, and bounded on the north and southwest by tributaries of the Bheri River and on the southeast by the Myagdi Khola.

8) Mount Manaslu, Nepal

 It is the mountain with an elevation of about 8156 m (26759 ft) above the sea level. It was first climbed by Artur Hajer, Gyalzen Norbu and Toshio Imanishi. It is eighth highest mountain in the world after Mount Dhaulagiri, located in the west-central part of Nepal.

9) Nanga Parbat, Pakistan

 It is the mountain with an elevation of about 8126 m (26660 ft) above the sea level. It was first climbed by Hermann Buhi. It is ninth highest mountain in the world after Mount Manaslu, located in the Diamer District of Pakistan's Gligit Baltistan region, it is the western anchor of the Himalayas.

10) Mount Annapurna I, Nepal

 It is the mountain with an elevation of about 8091 m (26545 ft) above the sea level. It was climbed by Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal for the first time. It is tenth highest mountain in the world after Nanga Parbat, located in the north central part of Nepal that includes more than ten other mountains in its range with over 7000 m elevation.
